Smith Cottage is a very quaint house that sits on the water's edge. The waves are practically lapping at the doorstep! We loved the fact that there are no stairs...it is all one level which makes it soooooo easy to haul in luggage, coolers, beach chairs, etc. The screened porch is absolutely perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktail. The three bedrooms each have a private bathroom, so that is definitely an added bonus! And, the fact that each bedroom has two beds was a bonus, as well. We absolutely loved the location and the layout of Smith Cottage. A negative aspect of Smith Cottage is that the living room furniture definitely needs to be replaced or at least cleaned! I know it is certainly hard to upkeep furniture in a beach house, but maybe invest in a different type of furniture?? Honestly, the cottage just needs a little love and attention. Overall, we absolutely loved Smith Cottage and are grateful that we were able to stay there!

Enjoy this house. The only negative was the queen mattress in the main bedroom.

Title?
We had the most fantastic vacation. Smith Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. I only have three issues that would have made our stay perfect. 1. light bulbs are needed in some of the lamps. 2. There is only one pot in the kitchen, more pots needed. 3. I recommend the owners install two outdoor fans in the screened in porch, replacing the two lights with fans would be a huge improvement. That's it!
