Summer on St. George Island
Summer is the most popular time of the year to visit St. George Island. The temperature is usually in the 80s, so it’s perfect for hitting the beach or the pool. Because there are so many miles of beaches on SGI, you’ll never have a hard time finding a spot. Plus, many of our Collins Vacation Rentals have gorgeous pools for you and your family to enjoy! The only downsides of coming in the summer are the chance of rain and the fact that you’ll probably have to wait for a table at a restaurant. However, the hustle and bustle of the full island has a great vibe, and you are likely to make some friends as you wait for a table!.
Fall on St. George Island
You can quickly get a table at a restaurant, and you will have large expanses of beach to yourself. While you might not get a day warm enough to lay out and tan, the beach is still a great place to take walks, ride bikes, or play outdoor games.
Spring on St. George Island
Spring in St. George Island is another secret season. It’s a great family spring break destination, and the weather starts to warm up again after winter. “April showers bring May flowers” doesn’t apply here; rain is rare and usually only occurs 2-5 days out of the months.!
