We had a wonderful weekend. The home was clean, well equipped and very charming older beach house. The location was perfect, not a long walk to the beach. We really enjoyed the large open porch as well as the covered screened porch. We would definitely rent this one again.

Florida E State Great for Family
The property is in a superb location and is a classic! While it could use some maintenance of worn items and fixtures it was a fun and enjoyable property. The decor reflects the family nature and history of the owners. The screen porch and deck plus the private boardwalk were very enjoyable. Would definitely book here again!

Love this place
Let me tell you how much we loved it here! Cozy, relaxing and of course the beach view. It has its own boardwalk and access to beach, direct access I will add! Brought my 3 yr old. She absolutely loved it there. My parents rented it for the month and we came down for 1 week. It is cozy yet spacious, never felt like we didn’t have enough room for everyone! I loved St George Island. Very friendly!! I will definitely be back!

Florida E State
We had the best time! The house was perfect for viewing the beach, loved the screened in porch and the boardwalk that put you right on the beach! Only negatives here would be the Bed in master bedroom is in dire need of replacement and the twin beds in the other bedroom. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Florida E State
Had a wonderful time. House is very comfortable. I recommend removing the broken chairs for safety. We know they’re broken and don’t use them. We have the same house booked a couple more times this year so you know we’re happy with it. Love Collins. You guys rock. Always friendly. Always there if needed. Been working with you all since 2005. Says it all. Thanks for all you do!

A little gem found on short notice
We stayed in Florida E State which we affectionately nicknamed “Stranger Things” b/c anyone who’s seen that show would appreciate the decorating. It looked like a conglomeration of every house I was in during the late 70’s/early 80’s. It was like a movie set-so authentically 1980s era. And….it was a great house! Location was perfect-close to town center but a little out but rideable on a bike. Great views from both the screened porch and open porch. Private walk to the uncrowded beach. All dishes you would need in the kitchen, great water pressure, comfortable enough beds. We were pleased as punch. Now, even though the pictures on line are outdated-they have changed out some furniture-it still is what it appears. Rustic, yes. Up to date, nope. While we loved it and were happy to find such a diamond adorably in the rough at such a late booking time we know and love people who would absolutely not like the worn, smooth wood floors and mish-mash of furniture. And that’s okay. Granite and quartz are super pretty and other houses rented in our large group had them along with updated cabinets but no one had the deck, location, view. In fact, most of those that had those pretty houses walked in and appreciated the quirks like we did. In fact, our master bath would have fit 3 of the bathrooms in the updated fancy, beauty our friends stayed in down the street. Is it perfect? Not at all-there are definitely a few things that need attention like the screens and broken latch on the kitchen window but we would go back and that’s saying something. Location: I had 4 teenagers (15,15,13,13) and the location was perfect along with island life locale to give them freedom to ride to town center to shop, eat, and explore, get ice cream by themselves. Beach: Hop skip and a couple of steps down from our private boardwalk to our uncrowded beach. Also had water taps located in a couple of spots and a shower to wash sand away. This house probably gets overlooked a lot b/c it is “rustic” and not updated but all in all it deserved a decent review as it served us well!

Nice location
We enjoy staying in this house it's location is great! Love the screened in deck and the boardwalk to the beach! The house is roomy enough if our 2 grandchildren and their parents come down to visit. We have always dealt with Collins Vacation Rentals and have always had the best experience working with them. Can't wait to come back next year!

Enjoyed our stay but would like some outside chairs added. Only had 2 plastic and they were both cracked. Also the master bathroom toilet doesn’t flush well.
