Jacuzzi is amazing!

Collins responsive when needed
After check in we needed some help with the elevator. A quick call to the maintenance number and someone came out immediately to help us get it to work. And Collins even called to check post work that everything was working. I prefer a local management company because of unexpected problems away from home. The property, 1 Beach Memory, was very well stocked with kitchen equipment and the kids ages 4,6,9 years old loved their bunk room. I didn’t thick we would use the pool table except to store stuff but due to weather conditions it was an unexpected useful amenity. The king bed mattresses were hard in our opinions. The 3rd floor screened in deck was welcoming in the evening to play family card games. We loved having 2 refrigerators and the large dining / food prep table.

Fabulous Time!

Outside Living Area makes this house Amazing!

The outside living area of the house makes it amazing! The miltiple decks including a screened in porch, covered deck with hot tub, and sunning deck gave everyone options! The beach view from this house is breathtaking- pictures don't do it justice. And the beach space is amazing! We felt like we had the beach to ourselves! The house is located on the east end of the island and it has a shared entry driveway with three other homes and no public beach access. The living area of this house is very nice with comfy couches, a pool table and a HUGE kitchen table. The extra fridge/freezer off the kitchen was great to keep all out drinks in and freeze all the fish we caught on a charter. Negatives: the stairs (they are steeo and winding) however there is an outside elevator available for use (but we were there during part of Tropical Storm Claudette and we did not feel comfortable using it due to the wind but it was useful for using it more like a freight elevator to carry things up/down for us), no lockable storage for our beach gear/fishing gear (we did store most of it in the large outdoor shower area and given the privacy of our area we didn't worry too much about theft), the doors were drafty (no tight seal even when locked) so at times it took awhile for the a/c to really cool the house down and get rid of the humidity, and it would have been nice to have some rugs by all entryways to help with sand (even though we would rinse our feet off when coming in from the beach you're still tracking a lot of sand in). The negatives of this rental are very minor and don't take away from the 5 star rating at all (I oly include them because when searching for rentals I like to know as much as possible - the good and the bad). The beach near this house, the privacy of the rental, and the multiple decks make 1 Beach Memory a 5/5! Thanksgiving at 1 Beach Memory

1 Beach Memory was a week full of FUN for our family at Thanksgiving! The beach view and frontage make it a great seup for families! Our children, ages 10 and 13, especially loved the pool table at night! I only caution people with limited mobility as the steps are incredibly steep and odd-shapped. It could be very easy to fall for someone with mobility issus. Overall an AWESOME stay and we LOVED their stocked kitchen, views and open floor plan!
