Absolutely Stunning Property
We absolutely loved this gorgeous home, its easy beach access, location on the island, and incredible view! The comfortable furniture (inside & out), well stocked kitchen, high end appliances (we especially loved the beverage frig), and abundant space, made a perfect home away from home for our group of 12 to celebrate Thanksgiving. Everyone remarked about the attention to details which contributed to our stay being so enjoyable. We especially appreciated the labeled wall switches, and written instructions for operating various things, including the elevator and appliances. Pictures of kitchen cabinet contents allowed us to return items to their appropriate places and maintain its organization! We really enjoyed learning about the history of the land and the home - many thanks to the owners for providing this information so beautifully! The only thing that would make this property more perfect than it already is, is a heater for the beautiful swimming pool. As always, Collins was most accommodating, friendly, and helpful. OUTSTANDING IN EVERY Way
A beautiful and comfortable property. Tastefully decorated in excellent condition with a well designed floor plan and function. The kitchen was a dream to prepare our meals in, organized, super clean and stocked with all you need. The view and the beach were outstanding. Furniture was plentiful for 14 and very comfortable. Pawpaws Sandbox
This was an AMAZING property! Our joined family of 14 came in throughout the day and were completely comfortable. The view from both balconies was breathtaking and we got to learn about the history of the property through the walls.The elevator was an additional cost but well worth being able to travel up and down the house. Definitely a place to come back to during the summertime since it was so cold. But 100% a place to make a stop to see some beautiful stars as everything looks so much better at night. Wonderful Home!!!
This is our second year staying in Papaw's Sandbox. The house is beautiful and the views are amazing! We were going to book for our third trip but found out the house is booked for all of October in 2022. We will monitor to see if there are any cancellations during that month. This is a wonderful house for a family or multiple families to rent! There is plenty of space, the kitchen is a chef's dream and the outdoor areas (pool and balconies) are great. Q: CANCELLATION AND RESERVATION CHANGES- Staff S. Posted: 07/01/2024A:For reservations booked in advance (greater than 30 days prior to arrival): You may cancel, change dates, or switch properties within seven (7) days of the contract date with no penalty. Please note: after the seven (7) days, we cannot refund your advance rental payment unless equivalent revenue is generated from another rental customer for the same time period. When your reservation is confirmed, any cancellation, date or property changes will be subject to this policy. If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your advance rental payment, minus a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the published rate.
For reservations booked within 30 days of arrival: You may cancel, change dates, or switch properties on the same day of the booking. Please note: after your booking date, we cannot refund your rental payment unless equivalent revenue is generated from another rental customer for the same dates. When your reservation is confirmed, any cancellation, date or property changes will be subject to this policy. If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your rental payment, minus a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the published rate.
Refunds will be issued in the same form the payment was made. Please note: credit card refunds will be issued to the same card the payment was received (including gift cards).
Your reservation will be cancelled if you fail to arrive within 24 hours of arrival date, unless you have notified our office previously. Guests with Travel Protection Insurance will be directed to contact their insurer. Please note: Collins Vacation Rentals does not refund or reschedule for weather events.
