This is a great house! Well stocked kitchen, had everything I needed. Love the setting, close to the gate, quiet but easy walk to the beach. Having an elevator was great. Certainly will rent again. Would be nice if someone would leave instructions for the television. We had to download Hulu just to watch. During winter months, tv is a must for night watching. Everything else was Fantastic! Dragon's Lair Summer 2023 Family Trip - Great stay!
We had a great stay at Dragon's Lair. The property delivered on all the promised amenities, and then some. We appreciated the well-appointed space, quiet and natural surroundings, and property extras. We received a surprise welcome gift that was put to good use during our trip. There were beach and pool toy at the house, which were used and enjoyed. Lots of books and games to borrow, too! Nothing beats an ocean view, but this one did the best possible with the space/location, with serene treetop views and complete privacy, all an easy and very short walk from the beach. The pool area was secluded and private, managing the difficult balancing act of providing sun and shade to keep everyone in our group happy. Management and the owners were great to work with when we had some small hiccups to deal with - promptly resolved things, which was fantastic. It was the perfect spot for a multi-generational family trip, with a fantastic elevator, great spaces to gather and find privacy, and accessible to all that St. George and the Plantation has to offer ... at a great discount vs. a property directly on the ocean. Wonderful Home!
Our home we had been renting was pulled from the market shortly before we came down. Collins was wonderful to offer us several options and we chose Dragon's Lair. What a great choice! Although it was not directly on the beach (short walk to beach), it was great. Layout was so good for our family and fur babies. The owners have this home well appointed and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to use for a stay at the beach. Even left dog bowls for our fur visitors. Q: CANCELLATION AND RESERVATION CHANGES- Staff S. Posted: 07/01/2024A:For reservations booked in advance (greater than 30 days prior to arrival): You may cancel, change dates, or switch properties within seven (7) days of the contract date with no penalty. Please note: after the seven (7) days, we cannot refund your advance rental payment unless equivalent revenue is generated from another rental customer for the same time period. When your reservation is confirmed, any cancellation, date or property changes will be subject to this policy. If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your advance rental payment, minus a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the published rate.
For reservations booked within 30 days of arrival: You may cancel, change dates, or switch properties on the same day of the booking. Please note: after your booking date, we cannot refund your rental payment unless equivalent revenue is generated from another rental customer for the same dates. When your reservation is confirmed, any cancellation, date or property changes will be subject to this policy. If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your rental payment, minus a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the published rate.
Refunds will be issued in the same form the payment was made. Please note: credit card refunds will be issued to the same card the payment was received (including gift cards).
Your reservation will be cancelled if you fail to arrive within 24 hours of arrival date, unless you have notified our office previously. Guests with Travel Protection Insurance will be directed to contact their insurer. Please note: Collins Vacation Rentals does not refund or reschedule for weather events.
