In July 1973, Alice Collins opened on St. George Island under the name of Alice D. Collins Realty specializing in the sales and rentals of recreational properties on the island. Alice D. Collins Realty joined forces with CENTURY 21 in 1992 and became CENTURY 21 Collins Realty Inc.. In 1994, we created Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc.
President/Owner Alice Collins has guided the helm of Collins Vacation Rentals through many idyllic summers, hurricanes seasons (with major damage from Hurricanes Kate and Opal) and a devastating fire that destroyed the original building in the 1980s. Fortunately, all lives were spared and the structure was soon rebuilt - thanks to the compassion and community spirit of employees and islanders alike. Within two months, a new office building was constructed on the ruins of the old site. A "west wing" was added in the spring of 2004, increasing the office space to a 6,650 sq. ft. facility for CENTURY 21 Collins Realty, Inc. and Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc.
Over the years, our employees and our company continue to be active within the community and stay in touch with community leaders to help preserve the pristine area of St. George Island while allowing quality growth. You'll find our homes have scenic views because there are no high-rise condominiums on St. George Island, and the island has well-established low-density controls.

At Collins Vacation Rentals, we strive to accommodate the needs and desires of our island visitors. With over 250 privately owned rental homes, from the luxurious seven bedroom beach house to old fashioned "Florida style" cottages, we are certain you will find a rental home designed to please your tastes. Some homes offer pools, tennis courts and boat docking privileges. Many of our homes are pet friendly. We also offer homes with ground level entrances and elevators for our guests with special needs.
Housekeeping works diligently to create a clean and pleasant environment for you to enjoy on your vacation. Linens are provided at all properties. This includes one bath set per person, one set of sheets per bed, along with a dishcloth and dish towel. Beach towels are not provided. Additional linens are available for an additional fee. Linens are furnished according to the number of people the house accommodates. If you have concerns or feel your rental home has not been cleaned properly, please let us know when you arrive. If you are a late arrival, please notify us of any problems you may have by 10:00 am the next morning. Housekeeping can be reached at 850-927-3861. Great effort is made to ensure all appliances and equipment in your rental home are working properly. However, even the newest or best-maintained equipment occasionally malfunctions. Our department takes pride in handling any maintenance problem to the best of our ability. If you experience a maintenance emergency after 5:00 pm, we have a staff member "on call" who can assist you. Maintenance can be reached at 850-927-2478.
Our customer service department is dedicated to
